Xu lives in an apartment along the coast with his parents and younger brother. He speaks Chinese and is learning English. His likes to sing modern music and is learning to play the drums and cucurbit flute. His favorite dinner is sautéed noodles with minced meat.

Xu walks to school where he likes to study math and play with his friends. In his free time, he plays basketball, runs, and skateboards.

Xu’s favorite season is winter because he gets to ski, make snowmen, and play with his friends in the snow. If he could visit anywhere in the world, he would go to the Arctic because polar bears live there.
